We have big news to extend our services to include students in Travis & Williamson County ISDs along with surrounding communities! Our area has a lot of successful businesses as well as a plethora of high-achieving high school students. What’s missing is the bridge to bring them together to ensure our students are competitive when applying to colleges, scholarships, and entering the future workforce. Ladders for Leaders gives students a unique opportunity to gain professional experience, develop work readiness skills, explore their interests and discover new ones through:
- Workplace Readiness Training – Hybrid (online webinars & in-person)
- Resumes, LinkedIn, Interviews, Career Exploration, Financial Literacy, Communication, Organization, & Professionalism
- Paid and Volunteer Summer Internships: Internship opportunities available in a variety of industries to accommodate student interest
- Youth Job Opportunities (Launched August 2023!) – Online Job Portal to match applicants with job openings looking to hire students
- Our First Annual STUDENT CAREER FAIR – Spring 2023 was a total success!
