About Me:

Education & Training

April Guerra is a proud Texan native, financial analyst, and passionate advocate dedicated to building stronger communities by investing in youth and prioritizing education. As a first-generation college graduate and single mother, April embodies resilience, determination, and a commitment to creating opportunities for others. Her mission is to inspire individuals to lead intentionally, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

With extensive experience in entrepreneurship and financial analysis, April’s professional journey reflects her passion for empowering others. She previously founded a marketing company to support small businesses and has since expanded her focus to helping entrepreneurs and professionals elevate their brands and businesses. April also dedicates her time to volunteering with nonprofits, mentoring young women, and championing initiatives that promote education, family, and leadership development.

April actively contributes to her community as a member of the Friends of Christopher Guild, benefiting the Center for Child Protection, and as a sustaining advisor for the Junior League of Austin. Her most cherished role, however, is being a mother. Her eldest daughter has graduated from the University of Houston, while her youngest daughter is thriving as a middle school student.

A graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with an MBA, April combines a strategic mindset with a heart for service. Growing up with limited resources, she understands firsthand the transformative power of education, resilience, and mentorship, and she strives to pay it forward through her work and community involvement.

Outside of her professional and community efforts, April enjoys spending quality time with her daughters, exploring live music, hosting brunch, and traveling—with her portable hammock in tow.
